The Sanctuary is not a retreat center but we do offer retreats . It is a Boutique Resort & Spa where guests can choose to participate in our alternative activities or just lay in a hammock sipping one of our cocktails/ice cold beers or specialized wines. It is this unique blend of people relaxing, chilling and participating that makes The Sanctuary Resort & Spa so unique. The sanctuary bar plays cool tunes ranging from classical to dance music, most nights till 11.30pm.
Also on Had Tien bay Ko Phangan is The Sanctuary Spa and its wonderful Wellness & Detox Center! It supplies a calm, peaceful environment to relax in and get healthy! Whether you join a program or just relax trying one of their delicious healthy drinks. Your choice. Soft music and great views of the beach and sea.
In addition to the products and services available at the Spa and Wellness & Detox Center, we offer sessions and group seminars on a regular basis. These include a wide range of alternative practices, such as Reiki, Cranial Sacral Treatments, Rebalancing, N.L.P, Hypnosis, Astrology, Inner Child Therapy, Sound work, Belly dancing, Massage, Shiatsu, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, Tai chi and Yoga ( from Hatha yoga to Kundalini). Yoga and Meditation classes are available daily at the Sanctuary throughout the year, taught by our resident Yoga teachers. See our events page for current opportunities. The Sanctuary is located on beautiful Had Tien Beach on Koh Phangan island ; idyllic for swimming and snorkeling. Only 10 minutes walk on either side of the Sanctuary are two similar sun drenched beaches.
The Sanctuary has a LARGE New Age esoteric library with over 1,,000 titles. We also have an extensive novel collection.
Snorkeling, Sea Kayaking, fishing and 'around the island' boat trips can also be arrange.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS IS NOW AVAILABLE IN ALL SANCTUARY ROOMS, We also have an e-mail office
It should also be noted that there is a dance party every friday night on HadTien bay- this can finish late & be a 'LOUD' This is not a Sanctuary event !!!
