A non-religious service can also be catered for, you provide the vows and we can provide the perfect ‘vicar’ who can add that touch of magic to this non-religious occasion. If you have another non-religious service you would like to perform please ask and we will endeavor to cater to your needs. We acknowledge that all weddings have their unique needs and we love making these dreams a reality.
This is a special occasion where you will be married in front of 9 Buddhist monks. The monks offer prayers and chants to bless the occasion while the abbot ties sacred white string around the couples’ wrists and sprinkles holy water over their heads with a leafy branch. All other guests are encouraged to also tie string around the couples wrists as a symbol of binding and unity.
After the ceremony gifts are given to the monks and abbot. They can stay for the photo shoot before returning to their Wat (temple) on the other side of the island. This ceremony must take place in the morning time as the monks are forbidden to eat after midday. The Sanctuary will organize all the needs of the monks.
We offer a tropical choice of locations for your special day, whether its in one of our stunning houses with the bay as a backdrop, on the beach in the shade of the coconut trees, or at the ocean shore by our magnificent rocks.
We can cater for groups of up to 100 people offering a vegetarian and /or seafood feast worthy of the occasion to suit all desires and costs. We have a full bar and are equipped with Champagne, wine, tropical fruit punch & cocktails. Your guests can stay in one of our stunning unique houses or select from the range of Sanctuary style bungalows.

All of the wedding guests loved their accommodation….quirky and unique, yet had all the comforts/luxuries needed for wedding goers!! The staff were wonderful with helping getting everyone to the various houses and lugging heavy bags with a smile even though they must have been convinced there were rocks in each bag!!!
Everyone was gobsmacked with the food in the restaurant….so yummy…getting hungry just thinking about it!!! The staff were just fantastic…they were so good at dealing with our big group with different account numbers, special requests and general confusion that we tried to cause!!!! They got complicated orders correct without any hitches every time!!! A special sing out to Sam, Chard, William and all the other staff that are amazing at their jobs!!
