Hall sizes

Three halls, sized to your group.

We have four yoga halls. Retreats use three of them, and each is booked by the week for your group alone. The fourth, the Buddha Hall, stays open for our daily classes. The size limit is firm, so the hall we suggest depends on your final numbers, including you.

Why host here

Why groups come here.

Everything your group needs is in one place, right on the bay.

01

Remote, by boat only

We sit in Haad Tien bay on Koh Phangan, and you arrive by boat. Your group is away from everyday noise, and we can arrange ground and boat transport for you.

Getting here
02

A quiet bay

Locals have long called Haad Tien a place of benevolent spirits and healing energy. It is mostly quiet, with some music nearby at weekends, not on our beach.

03

Going fully solar

We are going fully solar powered, so no more generator. We also have free water refill stations and no plastic straws.

Our sustainability promise
04

Rooms for every budget

From dorms and huts to villas, houses and bungalows. Many have open-plan layouts, so your group hears the jungle at night.

05

Spa, detox and wellness on site

Our Wellness Center, spa, steam room, infrared sauna and natural spring plunge pool are here on the bay, so your group can rest and recover between sessions.

08

Activities for your group

Cacao ceremony, Five Element Dance, meditation, Tai Chi, private boat trips and jungle hikes. Group rates are available, and we can arrange private sessions just for your group.

Paying a deposit means you have read and agree to our full booking policy. Ask us for a copy at any time. We strongly recommend travel insurance for you and your guests.

How it works

  1. You tell us two things. How many people are coming, and which level of accommodation. We cannot check anything until we know those.
  2. We talk it through. A video call, in your timezone, about the shape of your retreat and what you want around it.
  3. You get a real budget. A spreadsheet costed for your actual numbers and dates: rooms, meals, hall and extras. Not a brochure price.
  4. We hold your hall. We hold it for one month while you decide. A hold is not a booking, and we tell you before it is released.
  5. Your deposit confirms it. 30% secures the dates. We send our image library and venue brochure so you can start promoting straight away.
  6. Your retreat goes on our website. Fill in our listing form and your page goes live. We share it on our channels too.
Questions hosts ask

Before you get on a call.

How do my guests get to The Sanctuary?
Most come by taxi boat from Haad Rin. It takes 5 to 15 minutes depending on the sea and costs about 500 THB per person. To reach Haad Rin, take the Haad Rin Queen ferry from Koh Samui. We can arrange group boat transfers, and there is also a steep walking path over the hill. See the Getting here page.
Is meat served?
No. No meat is served anywhere on site. The menu is vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian (fish) and raw, served family style from a set group menu. Your host signs off the menu a week before arrival. Tell us about allergies and dietary needs when you book.
How far ahead should I book?
Hosts who fill their retreats usually book their dates about twelve months ahead, so their guests have time to plan. Asking about the year after next is normal.
Can my group stay in different room types?
Yes. Most groups mix budget, mid range and air-conditioned rooms, and dorm beds can be added. Your budget spreadsheet shows every option.
Do I have to show my prices on your website?
No. Your retreat page can show your price or say “price on request”. Guests always book directly with you.
Can I use your photos to promote my retreat?
Yes. Once your dates are confirmed we send you our image and video library of rooms, halls, the beach, restaurant and spa.
Are pets or smoking allowed?
Pets are not allowed. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
